Mini bio: I graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester in 2006 with an Interior Design BA (hons), First class degree.
From 2006 -2008 I worked for the large retail specialist RPA. Here we delivered projects ranging from international retail roll-outs to bespoke one-off concept stores. The majority of my work here was for Alfred Dunhill Ltd. - mens leather-goods and high-end tailoring.
In October 2008 I joined the multidiscipline design agency Pope Wainwright; a medium sized consultancy that specialises in front end strategic thinking to develop truly appropriate and considered ideas. We have recently moved to Primrose Hill, NW1 London.
Approach: I see design as an important tool to add value and improve everyday living; most of my ideas come simply from observing a problem and finding a logical solution to it. Decoration can be nice, but I prefer objects to be highly functional and honest, aesthetically pleasing through high quality materials, finishing and details.
